Important new features upgrade in tuOtempO Winter Release 09

Welcome to tuOtempO Blog, everybody. We have been meaning to issue an official tuOtempO blog for quite sometime now, in order to have a flexible and easy way to pubblish news and updates. And what better occasion than the Winter Release 09 completed last Friday. This release adds many functionality and performance improvements that were requested by users.
Lets see the most important ones in more detail:

1.Overbooking, emergencies and appointments outside of working hours

In the scheduling view, it is now possible to add a second line to each resource and use this additional line to enter appointments overlapping with other previously scheduled appointments. This line can be added from the Agenda, by clicking on a resource and will allow you to manage overbooking, emergencies and any other situation requiring two appoitments at the same time to be scheduled with the same resource.

Moreover, from now on, users with administrator or operator rights have the ability to force book an appointment, for example when it is necessary to see a patient outside of the normal schedule.

2.Handpick services from any existing group.

With Winter Release 09 selecting which services are provided by a resource has never been easier.

In the edit resource window you will now find a new tab called Services.  In this tab all existing groups of services are displayed and you can easily select from each group, only the services actually provided by that resource. Besides, you can modify duration and price of a service for a given resource and this change won’t affect the other resources providing the same service.

3.Report

Which of the services I provide do my clients request the most? What are the busiest days of the week in my practice? What’s my first-time VS returning customers rate? How does each of my resources and/or my services contribute to my total revenues? How many of my clients book appointments online?

You can now find an answer to these questions and many more helping you improve your business organization by using the brand new reporting feature just released.
Users with administrator rights can now export all data concerning past appointments in a selected date range to an excel worksheet in order to run any kind of statistics, create charts or graphs, and so on.
